Lee Min Ho Minoz Happy Day Mini Concert

Lee Min Ho who was elevated into prominence after his leading role in Boys Before Flowers, held his first fan meeting to celebrate the occasion with his fans. The fan meeting titled Minoz Happy Day mini concert was held on 21st June at Seoul's Dome Art Hall. At his fan meeting, Lee Min Ho expressed, "This is my first fan meeting since my debut 3 years ago, so I feel very excited just standing here. I will become a Lee Min Ho that will not disappoint everyone."

The fan meeting was divided into 2 sessions, 1 and 5pm due to an overwhelming response which included over 200 fans from Taiwan, Thailand, Japan among the 4,500 contingent. Kim Su Ro, Park Bo Young (no pictures at all), Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Joon who had acted with Lee Min Ho also appeared in this fan meeting to add some star factor. Other guests include his vocal instructor, K.Will and Min Ho's mother.

Being thoughtful and considerate that most of his foreign fans might have problems with the language, Lee Min Ho prepared a special Nanta (Korean drum performance, where they don't use drums)performance for them. Fans gave Lee Min Ho gifts of many different varieties and also celebrated his 23rd birthday, a day before his actual birthday (22nd June) by singing the birthday song for him. But once again, the 4 members of F4 were not united again, as Kim Bum couldn't make it because of his filming schedule. But he still showed up in the form of a pre-recorded congratulatory video.

Lee Min Ho plans to continue filming CFs until his next project is decided.
Lee Min Ho celebrated his 22 birthday with 4,500 fans at his first fan meeting on 21 June at Dome Art Hall, Children's Grand Park in Seoul. The party was called Minoz Happy Day mini-concert (미노즈 해피데이 미니 콘서트). "Minoz" (미노즈) is the name of Min-ho's newly created fan club!

The fan meeting marks his first public appearance after his recent knee surgery. The first thing Min-ho said when he came on stage was to greet his fans with "I've missed you so much. The surgery was a success and as you can see, I have recovered from it."

Fans got to meet and interact with their beloved star and Min-ho's friends also made a special appearance at the meeting. As a special surprise for fans, Min-ho introduced them to his mother.

First up, Lee Min-ho received gifts from his fans and opened some of the presents. Min-ho distributed baby plums to his fans. They happily accepted and Min-ho ate a couple of those juicy plumbs while he opened his birthday gifts.

At one point, Min-ho introduced his mother and fans greeted her with a loud applause. Special guests who were at Min-ho's fan meeting were Kim Hyun-joong and Kim Joon (and T-MAX). And as mentioned earlier, K.will also made an appearance and sang a song. Kim Bum apologized for his absence (due to a busy schedule) via a video clip he pre-recorded earlier.

The star of Boys Before Flowers sang the song My Everything (F4 Special Edition album) for his fans. Min-ho thanked K.will for helping him with the song.

At the end of the meeting, Min-ho read a letter he prepared to his fans. He read the contents of the letter with a shaky, emotional voice. Min-ho obviously really treasures his fans and is awfully pleased to finally have enough fans to form his own fan club.

Because of the huge number of fans, two meetings were held. One at 1pm and another at 4:30pm. Fans from Korea, Japan and Taiwan attended Lee Min-ho's very first fan meeting.

With poor ratings weighing heavily on its shoulders, SBS has decided to cut their losses on their period drama, Ja Myung Go which had been originally scheduled for 50 episodes. It will now be shortened to just 39 episodes and will end it's run on 21st July. Replacing it will be Dream, a sports themed drama starring Kim Bum, Joo Jin Mo, Son Dambi, Julien Kang, Choi Yeo Jin, Oh Dal Soo, Chung Lim, etc. Dream was set for broadcast in September originally but SBS has decided to rush it and replace Ja Myung Go to revive the station's flagging ratings on Monday and Tuesday nights.

SBS Dream is a story about a youth, Lee Jang Suk (Kim Bum) who spent time in a juvenile detention center for picking pockets, and his journey to be a top boxer after he was released, with the help of a sports agent, Nam Jae Yul (Joo Jin Mo). The drama has been claimed by sections of the media as the Korean version of Jerry Maguire although the plot of Dream is nothing like it. Many scenes of topless guys guaranteed.

Dream will debut on 27th July and filming had already begun on 18th June.

While Goo Hye Sun and Lee Min Ho are promoting in Taiwan, the So-Eul couple are busy filming dramas in Korea. Kim Bum has his drama "Dream" while Kim So Eun will be starring in her own drama, "The Man Who Can't Get Married" with Uhm Jung Hwa.

Kim Beom Leads a New Generation of Hallyu

Actor Kim Beom of the Boys of Flowers fame is emerging as a new Hallyu star. His new film Flight (Korean title Bisang) has been sold to Japan even before the filming began. Japanese investors, Glory Entertainment and World Apple Corp., purchased the rights to the films theater presentation, DVD, and merchandising rights, demonstrating their affection and trust for the young actor. In addition to the film, Kim's new drama, Dream, to be aired later this year has also been sold to Japan, as well as TV shows and movies he formerly appeared in.

If Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo represented the first generation of Hallyu, Kim Beom is expected to lead the second wave of Korean pop culture in Japan. While the fans of the first Hallyu generation consist largely of homemakers in their 30s and 40s, those for Kim are much younger, from teenagers to women in their 20s.

Kim's new film Flight is about the emotional conflicts experienced during adolescent years. The film is expected to generate positive feedback from Japan, given that it talks about common concerns of young people everywhere. Flight is due for release later this year.

Hoa, mungkin bagi para kpop lovers serial yang satu ini emang sinetron wajib yang kudu harus ditonton. Tau semua lah kalo serial ini emang top bgt dan keren banget. Meskipun sinetron nya stripping (beda sinetron stripping Indo ama Korea). Kini, mereka hadir di Indonesia. Tepatnya di salah satu stasiun tipi yang kalian so pasti uda pada tau dong? Nah, pas dia nyari seseorang yang dituding sebagai langganan Jandi’s Dry Cleaner alias tukang cuci made by Jandi’s family ada ribut-ribut gaco gitchu. Ternyata eh ternyata anak yang dicari adalah korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga F4 dan sudah mau bundir alias bunuh diri. Pas mau loncat Jan Di dengan spontan langsung narik baju tu anak dan nggak jadi bundir. Jan Di pun jadi terkenal dan mendapat julukan wonder woman Korea. Hoho. Pimpinan grup Shinwa yang tak lain dan tak bukan adalah ibunya Goo Jun Pyo langsung masukin Jan Di ke sekolah Shinwa.
